Managing Director of Clearmake Waste Water Treatment and Recycling Solutions , David Lumb, was asked to speak on Water Management in Tropical and Subtropical Environments at the recent Asia Pacific Green Building Leadership Program.
The program was hosted by the Green Building Council of Australia and aimed to develop a cadre of professionals and leaders capable of advancing reform, development and governance in the Asia-Pacific region. Current and emerging issues in the region, including climate change and the environment were also to be discussed.
The Program focused on sustainable cities and building, hoping to transfer some of Australia's leadership and organisational strategies that have proven to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the building sector.
The theme of the presentation by David Lumb was reduce, recover and recycle and focused on how to optimise water saving opportunities in buildings by using innovative products and technologies.
Participants included leaders of newly established Green Building Councils in China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam.
