This year, one of Australia’s leading exhibitions for the construction, public works and open space management industries will be held on May 21–23, in Eastern Creek, Sydney.
The CivEnEx exhibition will host hundreds of equipment suppliers and exhibit the latest equipment for infrastructure projects such as road construction, earthworks, water, sewer, streetscapes, parks and waste management.
Each annual CivEnEx exhibition is attended by over 5000 visitors from the construction, public works and local government sectors.
NSW president for the Institute for Public Works Engineering Australia, Greg Moran, said that solutions that represent value are most likely to influence industry decision makers, with visitors looking for products that will offer them an advantage over their competitors when applying for tenders and accessing government contracts.
Moran also said due to the allocation of 75 per cent of the federal government’s budget for schools, housing, energy efficiency, community infrastructure, roads and rail, construction contractors are now feeling more optimistic.
