Industry group Cement Concrete and Aggregates Australia (CCAA) will be presenting a topical seminar on the challenges and solutions for designing and building homes in flood prone areas.
This topical seminar will be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Brisbane on Thursday 16th June 2011 from 5pm to 7.45pm.
Architect and technical authority, Max Granger will speak about the design and construction approaches to building on flood prone sites, while CCAA’s Construction Solutions Engineer will discuss concrete flooring systems and how they can be economically raised to minimise the risk and impact of flooding.
