Colours and Finishes
• Western Red Cedar: Western red cedar has unsurpassed natural beauty with pleasing colour tones of mellow ambers, reddish cinnamons and sienna browns. It has an insulation value 400 times better than steel and 8 times better than concrete. This species is ideal for internal and external cladding, panelling and joinery applications.
• Tasmanian Oak: Tasmanian Oak is warm, dense, resilient hardwood, light in colour varying from straw to reddish brown. This species has durability class of 3 and 4 which means it ideally suits internal applications. This species has easy workability, and features well for internal décor, including heavy traffic areas.
• Hemlock: Pacific Coast Hemlock is a new and interesting choice providing a clear lustrous surface in uniform blond colourings from creamy white to Golden Tans. Its tight fine grain and medium density makes it ideal for many internal applications and takes coatings and stains very well. Hemlock has a medium durability.
• Malas: Malas is a decorative timber ranging in colour from orange browns to reddish browns and is grown in New Guinea. It has a durability class of 2-3 and is resistant to borer attack. Ideal for internal and external applications.
