With this in mind, woodlogic has developed Structabrace structural bracing which is made from structural grade particleboard, and features a superior resin that offers proven moisture resistance.
Tested and independently certified, Structabrace has a 4kN/m limit state capacity when installed in accordance with its standard nail fixing arrangement for either the standard bracing system or 460mm Shortwall option.
For true design flexibility, woodlogic supplies a range of Structabrace bracing solutions with limit state capacities of 4kN/m, 6kN/m. 7.5N/m bracing capacities. The 460mm Shortwall systems achieve limit state capacities of 4kN/m, 4.5kN/m and 6kN/m and have comparable strengths to full width board systems - which is ideal for open plan designs.
Made in Australia from renewable plantation resources, Structabrace comes as a rigid 7mm thick board in a range of sizes - 2440 x 925mm; 2440mm x 1213mm; 2720mm x 925mm; 2720mm x 1213mm and 2720mm x 460mm.
