CEDIA Asia Pacific announces the winners of the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards held at the Gala Awards Night in Brisbane.
The CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards Night once again brought the residential custom installation industry together to recognise and reward high quality and professional integration solutions across the region.
Organised by CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design Installation Association), the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards ceremony was held at the exclusive Moda Events Portside recently with an audience of more than 300 industry professionals celebrating outstanding work from this year’s winners.
The 2012 CEDIA Awards boasted 77 amazing project entries from 28 companies and five countries including Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand and Taiwan.
Expressing his appreciation for the standard of projects entered in the competition, Stephen Miller, CEDIA Asia Pacific’s Executive Director observed that the Awards Night re-affirmed its role as the networking highlight of the Expo, offering an opportunity for the custom installation industry to celebrate the successes of their colleagues.
The Awards Night was once again generously supported by businesses from within the industry including new sponsors Sonos and Audio Products Group (representing Niles, Elan, Xantech and Sunfire), with the overall CEDIA Awards scheme sponsored by Australian Smart Home Ideas.
Entries for the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards were judged by international and local industry experts including CEDIA Asia Pacific Vice Chairman and Education Chair, Steven Hill along with Peter Aylett, Home Technology Associates UK.
CEDIA is an international trade association of companies specialising in the planning and installation of home electronic systems including home networking systems, home automation and communication systems, media rooms, single or multi room entertainment systems, and integrated whole-house sub-systems providing audio, video, lighting control, security and HVAC services.
