CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) have announced a wide range of dates for their 2009 education programme. The training courses, which are on offer throughout the year, can now be booked on the CEDIA Asia Pacific website.
In addition to the extensive training available within Australia and New Zealand, CEDIA Asia Pacific will be holding training for the first time in China. Leading up to the Expo in Sydney, CEDIA AP will be offering a range of fundamental courses. This includes TCP/IP, Audio Theory, Setup and Calibration, Video Theory Setup and Calibration and Introduction to Sub-Systems.
As Certification is now mandatory for all CEDIA Asia Pacific ESP (Electronic Systems Professional) members, CEDIA’s Certification programme allows members of the electronic systems industry to demonstrate a level of proficiency in industry-standard knowledge and skills.
The programme offers exams designated for three areas of expertise: the Installer Level I exam is designed for professionals with less than one year of installation experience; Advanced EST is for those with more than five years of installation experience; and Designer targets those with more than five years of design experience.
