The CEDIA New Zealand Expo recently held at Auckland’s SKYCITY Convention Centre received excellent feedback from exhibiting companies and visitors alike.
The response to the inaugural event last year indicated that the show was destined to grow. In anticipation the show moved from a hotel venue into a purpose built convention centre to allow the floor plan to double in size.
CEDIA NX Expo 2011 had an exhibitor line up of 32 companies, a significant 60% increase on last year, offering CEDIA NZ Expo visitors the opportunity to witness first hand, the most diverse range of products and services available to the residential CI sector ever seen before.
CEDIA Asia Pacific Exhibition Co-ordinator, Lauren Clegg comments that the Expo’s status as the only dedicated industry trade event for New Zealand’s electronic systems professionals was a huge responsibility.
Overall attendance at this year’s expo increased by 28%, with a total of 473 industry professionals including 300 attendees and 173 exhibitors.
Exhibitors were impressed with the steady flow of traffic and the good quality of attendees that came through the doors. The Expo showcased a high quality and diverse range of products, complemented by world class training and education opportunities.
The CEDIA NZ Expo 2011 was sponsored by Digital World NZ and CHIEF.
