Melbourne-based contractor, Infratec International, has recently moved to CASE Construction adding five 580 Super R series backhoe loaders to its fleet of 14 units.
Specialists in water main renewal works using pipe bursting technologies to replace existing water services, Infratec chose CASE because of the Super R series’ strength, power to perform and light footprint.
“A lot of our work involves digging water mains and trunk services across the Melbourne metropolitan area and provincial centres. Quite often, we’re working on existing median strips and people’s front lawns, so its vital we don’t make a great mess,” said Managing Director, Phil Thompson.”
“In addition to this key feature, the Super R has a bucket digging force of 5713 kgf and a maximum dig depth of 5.79 m, which we’ve found to be far more powerful than the older competitor model machines we have used in the past.”
“The CASE machines offer value for money. When we acquire a new machine, we need to ensure it meets all of our business needs, now and in the future,” Phil said.
