Case Construction Equipment has benefitted from multiple unit deals undertaken by several contractors, thanks to market confidence and the government’s 50 per cent tax break on new equipment.
Operator of JCR Earthmoving in Bright, north east Victoria, Jason Reid, recently added four new excavators to his fleet, after a sudden increase in business. Jason’s new machinery included a five tonne Case CX50, a 13 tonne CX130B and two 16 tonne CX160Bs. All Jason’s Case equipment was purchased on a six month rent-to-buy option, giving him the flexibility to purchase them or return them, depending on his level of work.
Three new Case machines were recently purchased by Fellow Victorian, Iain Murray, who runs Ausland Landscapes at Laverton. Iain chose to upgrade his equipment because of the government’s tax incentives, and acquired two new 420 skid steer loaders and a CX50 five tonne excavator for work on streetscapes, parks and gardens. The new equipment will be used for commercial developments around Melbourne, with the CX50B selected for its power, and the skid steers chosen for their versatility to switch between working speeds and road speeds at the touch of a button.
Queensland company Carsburg Earthmoving also added to its fleet recently with 12 new Case 420 Series 3 skid steer loaders. Carsburg Earthmoving provides earthmoving and excavation equipment and operators for hourly hire and constantly upgrades its fleet of more than 100 machines and trucks to maintain its reputation for service and reliability.
