Four of CASE Construction Equipment’s compact excavator models – the CX27B, CX31B, CX36B and CX50B – have been upgraded to Tier IV certification, delivering more efficient power and faster cycle times to move quickly through tough jobs.
With a growing number of government departments, public companies and councils looking for machinery that exceed emissions standards, CASE Construction Equipment has introduced Tier IV certified Yanmar engines in this range – exceeding all international emissions regulations.
The Case CXB series compact excavators range from 2,520 to 4,870kg operating weight and deliver from 15.9 to 29.3kW engine power. These models provide bucket digging forces up to 3,600kg and maximum dig depths from 2.54m to 3.59m.
“The new CX31B benefits from a longer track frame, now the same length as that on the CX36B. This will provide better stability on steep sites and loading ramps. The machine will also offer greater stability when walking suspended loads,” said Blake Irwin, CASE Construction Equipment Product Manager.
“All of the models have increased feathering for start of travel and start of boom swing, with the benefit especially evident from standing starts and when turning on hard surfaces.
“And of course, all of these machines are zero tail swing configured. They have a small footprint but they are packed with big excavator features,” Blake Irwin said.
“Case compact excavators turn 360° with no part of the upper structure extending beyond the tracks, and are as easy to trailer as a skid steer loader,” said Blake Irwin.
