Three-D modelling and visualisation is becoming the standard for deliverables to most clients, says vectorisation company CAD Conversion Specialists (CCS).
The 3D model/rendering also allows resolution of design changes and feedback from the client much sooner in the design phase. From the model, we can create any style of rendering desired. From photo realism to water colour to sketch, all of which are created from the 3D model, allowing for quick turn-around as the project design changes.
“By using 2D layout plans, elevations and sections, we create models incorporating all structural materials from concrete, steel, wood, glass, brick and building design detail. Based on our designs, our clients are able to present a finished product to their customers and enhance the selling power of their product,” says CCS director Brett Boyle.
If needed, the model can also be used to track areas, material take-offs, equipment, etc. CCS’s methods vary depending on the information used to create the render and image type required. All that is required to create a 3D rendered image is a floor plan and an elevation drawing.
