These hollow Self Venting Roofing Tiles and Corrugated Units are installed in pairs to provide a silent, virtually invisible, maintenance free and unobtrusive roof space ventilation system.

A virtually invisible way to cool homes and buildings naturally, the range of hollow self venting products applies to the following:

Tiled roofs, one of the pair is installed above the gutter and the other below the ridge cap on the other side
Colorbond or corrugated roofs, the pairs are installed on either side of the ridge cap, but offset
Cooling homes or buildings in summer
Keep homes or buildings warmer in winter and significantly reduce damaging condensation

Benefits of Self Venting Roof Tiles

Some models have adaptors to which the flexible ducting of bathroom and kitchen exhaust systems are connected to directly vent these unwanted fumes or steam to the outside, using additional tiles or units
Work when there is no breeze, as a convection flow is created, and they do not rely on a rotating top
Require no electricity
Have no moving parts and are therefore silent
Require no maintenance
Are easily painted or powder coated (this can be arranged) to match the existing or new roof
Can withstand cyclones
Have optional stainless steel mesh for bush fire prone areas

A larger version is available by special order for commercial metal roofs, with optional electric dampers

The powder coating option of all Colorbond colours are available:

Concrete and Terracotta Self Venting Roof Tiles
The hollow concrete and terracotta self venting tiles are compatible with most past models of Boral, CSR, Monier, Bristol, Marley, Pioneer, Redland, Whitelaw, Hume and Clark roof tiles.

They can also be powder coated by choosing from a wide range of colours. Due to manufacturers recently changing the overall size of their tiles, not all current tile models are compatible. Do carefully check for new tiled roofs.

A solution for replacing unavailable broken tiles on older roofs, for example, by installing 3 pairs, 6 tiles become available to replace the broken ones and the home will become cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

These roof tiles do not rely on a protruding wind driven cowl to work, rather they are substitute tiles or an integrated slim line unit for corrugated metal roofs.
