Brand new to the Britex range of stainless steel urinals is the Superstep. Designed to increase hygiene levels in male bathrooms, the Superstep incorporates a unique, extra wide standing area that ensures users are standing over the flushing tray of the urinal during use.
Britex managing director, Cam Risstrom says of the new design, “The Superstep urinal is particularly well suited to schools where young boys are often reluctant to walk up to the front of urinals before using them which can lead to urine being dripped onto the floor of the toilet area, ultimately causing unwanted smells and bacteria”.
At the suggestion of architects and consultants, Britex has elongated the urinal’s standing area which encourages users to stand over the grate and prevents urine from ending up on the bathroom floor.
Key features of the Superstep stainless steel urinal include:

- Recessed into the floor or floor mounted models available
- Hinged floor grate to allow for ease of cleaning and optimum hygiene
- WELS approved – all urinals must now be WELS registered
- Weir-type sparge to ensure efficient and effective flushing
- Manufactured to custom lengths up to 1800mm max.
- Compatible with Britex water conserving, concealed flushing sensor systems
