Car and motorbike race teams require their tool, spare parts and component storage to be secure, well organised and accessible.
Boscotek worked with Team BOC mechanics to provide team transporter and workshop storage. The aim was to create functional work areas in limited space with maximum, efficient and clean storage, enabling practical, time-saving access. A mixture of high density drawer storage, interlinked and fitted with worktops was used to fulfill Team BOC’s needs.
As do many teams in the V8 Supercar Championship Series, Team BOC use a B-Double transporter to relocate their cars and equipment to all rounds of the championship that don’t involve flying. The transporter is a purpose built rig, weighing more than 54 tonnes.
Boscotek’s heavy duty and compact drawer cabinets are manufactured from high-quality steel, and their versatility makes them adaptable to the individual needs of any workplace.
Features of Boscotek high density drawer storage include:
- Improved safety thanks to a true anti-tilt mechanism with lock reset function on all drawers preventing a loaded cabinet from tipping;
- New 100% full extension runner which increases UDL storage capacity to a maximum 150-200kg, improves drawer accessibility and enables total placement and retrieval of parts over the entire surface area of the drawer
- High level of drawer security with the locking mechanism centrally located and at the rear of the cabinet and evenly distributed along the full length of the drawer
