Blum Australia have entered into 2 year personal sponsorship agreement with leading V8 Supercar driver, Jason Richards.
Jason Richards has been a regular runner in the V8 Supercar series since his debut at the Bathurst 1000 in 2000 with Team Kiwi, a seat Jason Richards held onto for three seasons. His V8 Supercar journey then saw him move to Team Dynamik for the 2003 season before joining the Tasman Motorsport team in 2004.
Bathurst 2008 was a highlight for the popular V8 Supercar driver where Jason Richards shared the second place podium spot with Greg Murphy after a courageous drive, falling short of victory.
According to David Noakes, National Sales and Marketing Manager, Blum Australia, the sponsorship agreement provides a great opportunity to entertain their customers and to raise their profile to the consumers who watch and attend V8 Supercar events.
By partnering with a high profile athlete such as Jason Richards, Blum Australia are able to execute a range of activities that focus on building their brand awareness and customer relationships. This announcement coincides with the recent confirmation that Jason Richards will join Brad Jones Racing, Team BOC for the 2009 season.
