The launch of Webhall Building Systems, a new steel building frame manufacturer in NSW, signals a boost for the residential building sector and more choice for home buyers and builders.
The system represents the latest advances in steel house framing with pre-engineered components manufactured from high strength and durable Zincalume steel. It comes with a complete on-site erection service specifically designed with the project builder in mind to ensure highest quality construction standards. All Webhall frames are made from Zincalume from BHP Steel.
Tony Halliday, Webhall director, says the company’s investment in NSW represents a new era for the role of steel house frame technology in the building industry. “Builders and home buyers are adopting steel because of the economic benefits and for its quality and strength in comparison with frames made from traditional materials,” Halliday says. “Insurance and accountability issues are looming large for all builders in their requirements for professional suppliers, and high quality steel building frames are part of the new technologies that can address this.”
The Webhall steel frame and truss system is a complete house frame manufacturing and fabrication system. The frames are rivetted and countersunk, providing a neat and clean surface to easily affix internal and external claddings flush to the framing.
Webhall manufactures its building frames solely from Zincalume steel to gain performance benefits including frames that will not rot, warp, shrink or twist and are termite and vermin resistant.
The system is engineered to meet Australian Building Codes and exceeds accepted building industry standards.
