New outlook on energy
Energy smart design principles on display at the new Delfin Springfield Lakes development south of Brisbane offer savings of up to 80 percent on a typical electricity bill.
The Outlook Pavilions home jointly developed by Delfin, BHP Building Products and James Hardie Building Products , incorporates a range of energy efficient design principles to help consumers slash their electricity and hot water bills.
The Outlook home features solar power cells and a solar hot water system custom matched to the Lysaght Custom Orb corrugated roof made from Colorbond prepainted steel in Slate Grey. It is plumbed to direct future recycled water to the toilets and gardens, delivering additional savings on water rates.
The Outlook home on display at Springfield Lakes is the Pavilions design with three interconnected pavilions offering a flexible lifestyle. The design can be easily and cost effectively altered with pavilions added, moved or turned to obtain the optimum orientation of the home on individual building sites. The three level is constructed on the elevated Lysaght steel flooring system and is one of Brisbane’s most innovative display homes designed for sloping land. The home flows with the natural terrain, eliminating the need for extensive earthworks. The design is easily adapted to a variety of slopes.
