The GreenStuf 100% Polyester Batts, available from Autex , are made from user-friendly, non-irritant polyester, which is dust free and will not cause any skin or other irritations.
Unlike some other forms of insulation, Autex 100% Polyester Batts will not deteriorate over time. The Polyester insulation is unaffected by mould, mildew and rot, resistant to vermin and insect attack and fully recyclable.
Autex Polyester insulation contains no chemical binders, which can off gas formaldehyde – a known carcinogen. This off gassing can occur during and after installation.
As well as being a known carcinogen, Formaldehyde is also a major asthma trigger as well as having many other known health concerns.
Autex’s insulation has no airborne fibres, eliminating the potential for airborne fibre respiratory related illnesses.
