Australian Turntable have recently been awarded a contract to design, manufacture and supply 5 x Custom showroom vehicle turntables for the BMW auto dealership in Umm Al Nar Abu Dhabi.
Originally contacted by renowned Middle East Architects and Engineering Consultants- Diar Consult Abu Dhabi - Australian Turntable’s ability to create visual showroom movement through advanced engineering design and precision engineering has resulted in this success.
Managing Director, Ben Chapman says that the quality engineered, low maintenance product for BMW is another project that has involved Australian Turntable’s expertise. He also says that it is an ideal showroom in the region with multiple nine metre diameter moving displays.
Australian Turntable are pleased to have BMW and Middle East in their portfolio. Showroom turntables are already exported from the company’s regional headquarters and this project has enhanced the export potential for Australian manufacturing.
The Kangaroo Flat are rapidly becoming world renowned for quality projects. The BMW project follows on from international projects in Iran, Qatar, Dubai and the Sultanate of Oman in the Middle East, along with Australian and SE Asia Motor Show and Exhibition circuit turntables. Recently ATC completed Toyota Australia Melbourne HQ with a number of custom-designed rotating platforms both internal and external for video production and showroom purposes.
Ben Chapman says “that without doubt our 20 years’ experience has enabled us to design, build and deliver top quality mechanical movement systems for a wide range of industries. Mazen Al Ghussein from ATC’s client, Project Managers Bin Harmal Group, has been fabulous to deal with and we look forward to delivering yet another first class product from our factory in Kangaroo Flat Victoria.”
Australian Turntable have also just began production of 61 revolving floors for a new building in Dubai’s Business Bay called The Pad, a development for the Omniyat Group. Australian Turntable’s subsidiary, Revolving Rooms Worldwide, was established in 1998 to design and build remote controlled rotating floors in high rise towers and penthouse apartments.
Ben Chapman can be contacted at Cityscape in the Australian pavilion where ATC is exhibiting for the fourth time. This year’s focus is on launching into the Middle East the range of car and loading dock truck turntables that are used extensively in Australia for traffic management solutions and space creation for architects and developers.
