Customised corner bench seat from Australian Streetscape (15-Apr-2008)
Australian Streetscape was chosen by DSB Landscape Architects to supply a large corner seat for Gungahlin Linear park.

Over 120 hectares of open space features hike and bike trails around lakes and waterways which meander through stunning parks and gardens. To ensure residents and visitors can stop, relax and enjoy the natural beauty on offer - tables, seats and litter bins created by Australian Streetscape can be found in many locations around Springfield Lakes.
Careful consideration of the surrounding environment and timelines required to complete each stage of Springfield Lakes has influenced the style of furniture selected. The chosen Australian Streetscape designs provide practical furniture solutions that are classic and will look good for many years to come.
Australian Streetscape’s Oxford range offers seats, tables and bench settings. The strong durable design of each piece ensures that it is not only aesthetically pleasing, but tough enough to withstand the elements and rigours of every day use while still being user friendly for park visitors. Each item in the Oxford range is made from Kwilla hardwood battens and marine grade cast aluminium formers, legs and clamps and is wheelchair friendly.
The Parklands Bin features a contemporary design that is robust yet functional and effortlessly compliments the surrounding area. Parklands Bins that were installed in the early stages of Springfield Lakes’ development have a proven track record of withstanding the harshness of everyday use and vandalism. Featuring a stainless steel lid and tee key lock for easy access of authorised personnel for easy bin removal, the Parklands Bin is a popular choice for Springfield Lakes and will continue to be installed as each stage of the development is completed.
All furniture created for Springfield Lakes is manufactured in the Australian Streetscape factory located in Queensland. To facilitate easy installation and delivery; the seats, tables and bins were completely constructed in the factory ready to be positioned in the park.
The combination of quality hard-wearing materials and sturdy construction ensures Australian Streetscapes’ Oxford range and Parklands Bin will be enjoyed by residents and park visitors for many years to come.
