The Aussie Fire Chief, claimed to be the world’s finest lightweight, self priming, high pressure fire pump, is now available trolley mounted. The Fire Chief is used by fire fighting authorities, farmers and householders for fire protection.
The pump delivers in excess of 150 psi pressure and thumps out a whopping 450 litres per minute of flow. Pumps’ Cassie Fake checks out the innovative mobile fire pump" style="WIDTH: 200px;" />
“It’s that great combination of pressure and flow that makes the Fire Chief the best pump of its kind in the world,” Aussie Pumps’ product manager, John Whiteley says. “We achieve this performance by a superb balanced hydraulic design and no compromise high quality, high strength components.”
The Fire Chief is powered by a Honda 5.5 HP GX160 air cooled industrial engine with low oil cut out device fitted as standard.
The whole unit is mounted on a rugged steel two wheel trolley with 10” pneumatic tyres. The trolley enables the pump to be transported quickly, even over relatively rough terrain with very little effort to the user.
The Aussie portable fire pump has recently won prestige contracts in Europe for village fire protection and Australian Pump expect the portable version of the “Chief” to be popular here in Australia as well. “We may move to a trolley mounted version of the big Mr T twin impeller high pressure fire pump as well if there is market demand,” Whiteley says.
