Design awards by Australian Institute of Building Designers Inc
Australian Institute of Building Designers Inc , in the last six years, has developed a wide range of designer awards. This award is given for the most outstanding and talented person within the building design profession.
There are five entry categories to this building designer award. The entries include Western Australia Commercial Building Designer of the year, Western Australia Residential building designer of the year, Western Australia Sustainable Building Designer of the year, Western Australia Project Home building Designer award and Western Australia Student Building Designer award.
There is a criterion for this building designer award. The project undertaken must be constructed or should have all necessary approvals to start the construction. A completed application along with the bills of entry fee must be obtained. There must be a copy of site plan, elevations, floor plans etc and a brief copy on the project.
Other criteria includes a copy of specific project, at least one copy of external photograph of the project completed which shows the project in relation to streetscape. A written statement regarding the designs, proof of building cost and also brief description pertaining to climatic and geography of that particular place.
