Returning to the Australian International Furniture Fair for a second year, the popular Hotel + Hospitality feature will exhibit furniture innovations and trends for the hotel, motel, club and restaurant sectors. Taking place from 4-6 February 2009 at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, participating exhibitors will include Islander Imports, MSL Contract, Basketworld and Contract Casual Furniture.
New exhibitors Mobi Living are design-led furniture providers specialising in commercial accommodation and hospitality environments. Part of the Schiavello Group, Mobi Living produce tailored and off-the-shelf pieces to cater to a diverse clientele.
Mobi Living recently outfitted hip Melbourne eatery Portello Rosso, which features custom-made recycled timber table-tops that compliment the bar’s rustic, Mediterranean cooking.
Also exhibiting for the first time is Cafeideas, suppliers of hospitality furniture to an extensive list of establishments in Sydney and beyond. Located in Chippendale, Cafeideas have furnished Bondi Icebergs, Liquidity Restaurant, stylish pubs The Beauchamp and Royal Hotel Paddington, and Balmoral Boatshed Kiosk, among other venues.
Returning exhibitor B Seated Global are suppliers of commercial furniture to the event hire and hospitality industries. Their design team work closely with event organisers to create comfortable chill out zones or lounge settings for indoor and outdoor venues.
Offering a wide range of restaurant, bar and club furniture, B Seated Global also produce custom-made furniture. Their Italian Resin Folding Chair, made from 100% resin, has been used at the Academy Awards, Golden Globes and even in episodes of Desperate Housewives.
Hotel + Hospitality, a special feature of the Australian International Furniture Fair, will be at the Sydney Exhibition Centre from Wednesday 4 February – Friday 6 February 2009.
