The take away food store, located in Lane Cove, Sydney, required disabled access to the front of the building.
Designs were required to comply with the following disabled access guidelines:
- Lane Cove Council Development Control Plan
- National Disability Access to Premises Standards 2010
- Australian Standards AS1428.1-2009
The organisation also acknowledged how helpful council staff were and commended its disabled access strategies to improve disability access and employment opportunities within the Lane Cove West area.
The SUBWAY restaurant/take-away food shop has been occupied and the disability access facilities have proved successful.
