A new home on the Central Coast of NSW at Buff Point featuring Duratuff Select
vinyl cladding was recently chosen as finalist in two categories at the Building
Designer Australia 2014 Design Awards.
Designed and project managed by Harris Building Design Services, the
home originally had issues with mines subsidence, flood prone land and high
water table. Designed as a single storey elevated structure with four bedrooms,
two bathrooms and a double garage, the home featured Duratuff vinyl cladding in
Soft Maple.
Duratuff Select was selected by the homeowner for its 50-year warranty,
thermal properties and low maintenance requirement. The cladding also had 30mm
insulation on the back to help keep the home cool in summer and warm in winter.
