Aussie Spect recently inspected a house, built by one of Australia’s top building design companies in Camderwell, Melbourne and were telephoned by their manager to say they were so impressed with their report, that they didn’t want them to inspect their houses ever again. He was joking of course, but what he really was implying was that Aussie Spect does a completely thorough job from the beginning to the end.
The manager stated that most inspection companies make statements such as - ‘In my opinion’ this item should be fixed, etc. Their reports not only list the defects, but they display photos of the exact problem and they also make reference to the specific BCA standard and/or Building Commissions Guide to Standards and Tolerances and other regulations they are bound by. This way, builders can’t argue their way out of fixing up any problems.
Aussie Spect was able to do this, using their automated software that can be customized to add in clauses and special paragraphs, making their reports more thorough and more informative.
