Ausco Modular have been working with their customers to understand the important aspects of the teaching environment whilst managing fluctuations, long or short term, in the educational facilities enrolments.
As the Western Australian economy grows and more families are taking up residence, there is an increased need for more social infrastructure. Housing, transport and education are all in high demand. Schools in the private and public sectors are experiencing high levels of new enrolments increasing class sizes and putting pressure on facilities.
Ausco Modular have been working closely with many schools in Western Australia to provide solutions advanced in design and engineering. All of Ausco Modular’s classrooms are designed to lead the way in structural integrity, energy and water efficiency, minimising energy through more natural light, passive cooling technology, enhanced insulation and performance customisation of buildings for energy and water consumption.
Most recently Ausco Modular were commissioned by the Mundaring Christian College to provide a 12m x 34.5m Learning Centre Classroom. The school required a high quality, well presented building to compliment the existing school and its surrounds.
Ausco Education representative Con Raas worked closely with the client and their architect to ensure the product exceeded the requirements and their expectations.
The complex was manufactured in Ausco Modular’s Perth factory in a timely manner and installed complete with landscaping ready for use. Mundaring Christian School were mindful of the retention of the native trees around the school making modular off-site construction more attractive.
Ausco Modular were selected by the Mundaring Christian College for this project based on specific criteria including referrals from other independent schools describing Ausco Modular as having a reputation for service and presentation of the full package, supported by their experienced staff.
