Sydney-based Artistique Concrete offers concrete solutions that require low maintenance and are hard wearing. The specialty of Artistique Concrete is its acid-stained and polished concrete products. Apart from these, Artistique Concrete provides customers with concrete related services such as laying of slabs and building works.
Artistique Concrete uses a chemical reaction process involving cement to bring about effects, which are often similar to marble processing. The process results in a number of uneven patterns. The process followed by Artistique Concrete can be applied to vertical surfaces and walls as well. The patterns usually come in warm, subtle earth tones such as greens and browns.
Constant polishing of the cement surface with grinding tools removes the pasty cement layer on top and results in Artistique Concrete's line of polished concrete. This process can be carried out on already-existing floors with the addition of colours to bring about a uniform effect. The floors are then coated with wax for obtaining a finer and smoother finish.
Artistique Concrete also constructs roadways, stairs, balconies and pits. The products of Artistique Concrete are used in restaurants, schools and commercial offices. Artistique Concrete makes available a number of colours ranging from Olive Green to Mocha for display and selection on its website.
