As building operational costs escalate and alternative ‘green’ ways to heat and cool buildings are sought, Arens International provides effective, cost efficient and ecologically sustainable solutions to these problems.
Such a project was the Korowa Anglican Girl’s School with the ventilation strategy in the new classroom block providing air movement in the warmer weather and removing the build up of hot air in the absence of air conditioning.
Through connection to a central control in each of ten classrooms, external aluminium awning windows and internal chimney vent louvres are opened and closed according to the temperature and time clocks.
