The Fineline-XTS operable glass louvre system from Architectural Glass Projects (AGP) was developed in conjunction with The Buchan Group, to be used as the main façade for the new Lucient Apartments in Melbourne.
The Fineline-XTS operable glass louvre system offers numerous architectural benefits and serves a very practical purpose of enclosing the apartment winter gardens and allowing all year round use by the apartment occupants. The glass louvres and mullions feature horizontal and vertical weather seals allow the balcony spaces to be used in the most inclement of weather conditions and, when the louvres are fully opened, generous views and strong natural airflow and ventilation are achieved.
Drawing upon years of customised design experience, the Fineline-XTS operable glass louvre system was designed by AGP with a special mechanism within the mullions that allows the top operable louvre to open upwards while the bottom operable louvre opens downwards to provide a greater clear opening space in the vision area.
