Advantages of The LiteSteel Beam
The innovative cold forming process gives LSB a unique profile with a flat, thin web and two hollow flanges. This unique profile gives the torsional rigidity you would normally expect from hot steel rolled sections, but is on average 40% lighter. This means that it can be carried like a timber beam. Not only is it lighter than hot-rolled steel sections, it can be cut, nailed, screwed and drilled on site using professional power tools; so as well as benefits in weight and strength, LSB offers unprecedented on-site flexibility.
