The Angle-Shoe new product workshop in Canberra is currently testing the HC35 door pivots for solid core doors. At the conclusion of the test the load capacity will increase from 20Kg to over 45Kg.
Testing has been requested to allow the pivots to be used with 35mm smoke doors to service cupboards in the lift lobbies of multi-storey buildings. Angle-Shoe pivots have an integral seal channel that eliminates the gap in smoke seals at the pivot point of traditional pivot door hardware.
Unlike most 'centre-line' pivots which require 45mm thick doors, Angle-Shoe pivots are made for 35mm doors, reducing both the cost and weight of pivot doors.
