Ambrose Art's original artworks combine a variety of mediums to create stunning
painted murals and
mosaics. Mike is available for commercial projects including internal wall murals, mosaic flooring, mosaic wall designs and public art projects.
Murals and Mosaic Designs
- Breathtaking murals are created by using paints in mixed media, used to create unique style, applying acrylics using an air-brush and fine detail brushwork.
- Brilliant mosaics are carefully created using quality products, materials and techniques guaranteed to withstand both internal and external environments.
Recent Commercial Art Projects
- Three-year commission to paint the ceiling of a 5 star heritage train, the Great South Pacific Express.
- Mike was commissioned to execute a design 'lilypond' by John Olsen on the largest contemporary mosaic in the Southern Hemisphere on the Brisbane Convention Centre foyer floor.
- Michael has been working with mosaics where he created a large mosaic water feature by the pool of the new Grand Golf Course Residential Club House here on the Gold Coast.
- He also painted the large mural with a golf theme - Pebble Beach USA.
Qualifications
Mike studied at the Queensland College of Art, 3 years full-time, where he completed his course in Commercial Illustration and Design.
