Applications:
Thermostatic Mixing Valves are designed to deliver hot water at a safe temperature in situations where water is stored at very high temperatures. Our valve is engineered to rapidly halt the flow of mixed water in the event of a failure of either hot or cold water. The Caleffi Thermostatic Mixing Valve is tested and approved to both the Australian Standard AS4032.1 and the requirements of NSW Health. This will allow the valve to be installed Australia wide and also in NSW health facilities and is suitable for applications such as early childhood centres, schools, hospitals, aged care, medical centres, gymnasiums, hotels, restaurants and other similar facilities. For optimum performance, we recommend that the Caleffi Thermostatic Mixing Valve has a balanced cold and hot water inlet supply pressure to within + / - 10%. A Caleffi Pressure Reducing Valve should be fitted to ensure a stable supply pressure to the mixing valve.

The Caleffi 5213TM series TMV is extremely compact which is especially helpful if retrofitting. Although the physical size of the valve has been greatly reduced, its performance has definitely not been compromised. The Caleffi Thermostatic Mixing Valve is very competitively priced, so you should save money and win more projects. The mixing valve comes standard with isolating valves, check valves and strainer. The 5213TM series is also available fully plumbed in a robust stainless steel box and ready to be installed and commissioned with plenty of space for easy access and maintenance. The stainless steel box features a recessed design with oversized fascia for flush installation and key locked lid to prevent unauthorised access. Also available are the Caleffi tempering valves for either instantaneous gas, solar hot water or standard domestic hot water services. Please note these are for domestic situations only and, unlike the TMV, cannot be serviced.
