Glass, not always the designer’s choice

Akril Panel

Akril Panel  is an innovative new solution to coated glass and tiles targeting the wets areas in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry’s, cupboard doors, business foyers, retail shops and walls.

Akril’s Managing Director Brian Hughes said, “The response was even greater than we had expected. Designers, architects and builders loved it.”

Whilst Akril Panel gives the appearance and finish of painted glass, it does not give you the same constraints. “The two key benefits people loved were its ability to be taken to site and fitted, and the fact you could polish out any scratches on the surface,’’ Hughes said.

Akril Panel has been developed over a period of four years and its introduction can help overcome many of the logistic and handling issues designers and builders have with glass. The panels are easily cut, light weight and provide a clean decorative finish.

Akril is available in standard sizes and has a wide range of colours available. Where needed, they will also offer specific colours.
