Activo Maintenance Products P/L specialises in supply and installing expansion joints, stair treads, and tactiles. Working exclusively with Miska, Australias leading manufacturers of expansion joints. One such expansion joint MFB75 was specified for use in a recent retail development at Point Cook in Victoria. Installed in brass this low profile joint eliminated the need for expensive construction of blockouts whilst being suitable for a wide range of floor finishes. Activo continues to work closely with Miska on a number of key projects ensuring that solutions to problematic issues are resolved utilising the expertise and knowledge of all involved. Refurbishment of existing expansion joints is an area where this expertise is best demonstrated. By working closely with the property management team and tenant Activo ensure that disruption is minimal and in most cases without any loss to trading activity. Metazeal has been successfully installed by Activo in many projects. This waterproof expansion joint is unique in its strength and applications whilst at the same time removing the incumbent hazardous and fatigued coverplates. Typical examples for this application would be an external car park over a shopping plaza that may require waterproof integrity through the expansion joint. Metazeal is a fully waterproof expansion joint and has approvals by the state road authorites in Australia and globally.
