Perforated Steel
- The Super Sound Panels to be internally lined on the back with perforated acoustic steel
- This gives the Super Sound Panels increased acoustic performance by allowing sound to penetrate through the acoustic panel and into the air cavity behind, re-entering the acoustic panel through the perforated steel to be absorbed in the acoustic insulation
- In effect this gives the acoustic panel significantly increased effectiveness compared to a panel with a hard back such as MDF.
High Density Recycled Acoustic Insulation
- The Super Sound Panels are filled with 48kg per m3density, 50mm thick Recycled Polyester Insulation
- This provides significant acoustic absorption
- The NRC rating of the insulation alone is 0.85
- This coupled with our Sound Reversal System and choice of fabrics gives a overall NRC rating of up to 1.0
Fabric and Upholstering Acoustic Panels
- The Super Sound Panels can be covered with a wide array of contemporary fabrics with different textures and patterns.
- The fabrics are professionally upholstered on to the Super Sound Panel without using harmful glues or epoxies.
- Apart from the obvious environmental benefits, this also makes re-upholstering a simple process often with a 24hr turn around. In the unlikely event of damage to an acoustic panel, rather than a whole panel needing to be replaced, it is simply unclipped and transported back to us for repair
Track System
- The Super Sound Panels come with their own track system for mounting onto walls or ceilings
- This system can be utilised in a wide range of wall/ceiling surfaces including stud frame and masonry
- It also allows for acoustic panels to be attached horizontally or vertically depending on the overall effect required
- Significant advantages include: easy removal of acoustic panels, minimal repair work as simple as stopping up the screw holes, and the air-cavity that the track system delivers leads to increased NRC performance
- Our track system requires a shadow line at the top of the acoustic panels of nominally 100mm.

- The Super Sound Panels have a NRC rating of up to 1.0
