The upcoming R+T Australia 2014 exhibition in Melbourne will showcase
one of the broadest ranges of climate control systems from simple shade
solutions to sophisticated, automated solutions.
Shade systems have been used for a very long time for sun protection;
though they are still in use, there are more sophisticated automated control
solutions available in the market designed for better efficiency, convenience
and control.
R+T Australia 2014 will display the latest developments in automated sun
and climate protection as part of a larger range of integrated energy efficient
building systems.
R+T Australia 2014 will be held at the Melbourne Convention and
Exhibition Centre from 21 August to 23 August.
Exhibition Manager Thurain Aye explains that protection from the hot
summer sun and maximising winter sun exposure are the ‘first lines of defence’
in designing, constructing, and even renovating today’s energy efficient
buildings. R+T Australia 2014 is the country’s first-ever exhibition
specialising in external building systems, such as roller shutters, awnings, doors
and gates, windows, and sun protection systems, providing architects,
specifiers, designers, builders and owners with a one-stop shop for the latest
industry developments.
Faced with hotter summers and spiralling energy costs, Australians are
constantly looking for solutions that would allow them to better manage their
cooling and heating requirements in a sustainable way. R+T Australia 2014 will
be displaying several innovations designed to provide sun and climate
protection depending on the season, while helping home and business owners keep
energy costs under control.
These solutions are not only made for new building constructions but are
suitable for retrofitting into existing homes, offices and commercial
buildings.
The product display at R+T Australia 2014 will encompass a complete
range of sun and climate protection systems, from simple manually operated
shutters and blinds, through to highly automated systems that automatically
open, shut and adjust themselves depending on sunlight, ambient temperatures
and even wind strength.
