R+T Australia 2014 opens in Melbourne on 21 August, showcasing the latest offerings in awnings, sun protection, windows and doors.

Renovations have a major role to play in the growth trends being forecast for the Australian building sector over the next few years; Melbourne’s R+T Australia 2014 exhibition to be held in the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 21 August to 23 August offers an ideal opportunity for designers, architects, builders, specifiers and owners to see the latest external building systems including roller shutters, doors/gates, windows, and sun protection systems.

According to exhibition manager Thurain Aye, these external building systems have applications right across the building spectrum, from minor upgrades, through to major renovations, as well as for new constructions.

He comments that the product display range will offer plenty of solutions to designers, owners and builders, not just of residential housing, but also apartments, commercial and industrial buildings, and heritage developments. The sun protection and climate management solutions on display at the R+T Australia 2014 have the potential to pay for themselves in just a few years from the resulting energy savings.

The exhibition will also be showcasing innovative smart access systems for residential, commercial and industrial buildings that offer increased security, peace of mind and convenience.

Aye adds that many of the products on display would be presented in Australia for the first time ever. In addition to leading Australian suppliers keen to show off their latest developments, the trade show has attracted a wide range of overseas suppliers looking to establish themselves in the Australian market, ensuring all exhibition visitors have the opportunity to view a versatile range of products and solutions.

The R+T Australia exhibition is aligned with a seminar programme featuring a complete expert line-up of speakers to discuss some of the latest international trends and developments at the show’s ExpeR+T Area presentations. These will be held on Thursday (August 21) and Friday (August 22) during R+T Australia.
