Brisbane architect Tony Jemmott of Jemmott Associates has been selected to attend a prestigious International Masterclass to be conducted by some of Australia’s best architectural minds.

To be attended by architects from around the world, the Glenn Murcutt International Architecture Masterclass is the brainchild of award-winning architect Glenn Murcutt, and a major event in the architectural calendar since 2001, attracting architects and senior students to Australia from more than 65 countries.

Tony views the exclusive workshop as a unique opportunity to share the wisdom and knowledge of top architects such as Glenn Murcutt, Brit Andersen, Richard Leplastrier and Peter Stutchbury over two intense weeks. Having followed Glenn Murcutt’s work, he wants to immerse himself in a creative and challenging environment.

Tony has worked on a number of well-known Queensland projects, such as Aquila Apartments, New Farm, the Saville Hotel and Apartments, Southbank, and the Cairns Convention Centre.

Tony leads a small team of talented architects at Jemmott Associates delivering residential homes and boutique property developments across the country. He established the Brisbane-based practice in 2012.

The intensive two-week studio design program is currently taking place in Sydney from 6 July to 20 July, where the 32 participants will complete a design project and visit a number of important architectural sites in the Sydney region.
